Meghan Henry (au); Alvaro Cortes (au); Azim Shivji (au); Katherine Buck (au)
Thie Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR) provides Point-in-Time (PIT) estimates, offering a shapshot of homelessness -- both sheltered and unsheltered -- on a single night. The one-night counts are conducted in late January of each year. The PIT counts also provide an estimate of the number of people experiencing homelessness within particular subpopulations, such as people with chronic patterns of homelessness and veterans experiencing homelessness. Contents of this report: Progress on the Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness; Estimates: Homelessness in the U.S.; Homeless Individuals; Homeless Families; Unaccompanied Homeless Children and Youth; Homeless Veterans; Chronically Homeless People; National Inventory of Beds. Tables and figures. This is a print on demand report.
