The Nationäó»s Report Card informs the public about the academic achievement of elementary and secondary students in the U.S. The Report cards communicate the findings of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), a continuing and nationally representative measure of achievement in various subjects over time. Representative samples of 4th- and 8th-grade public school students from 21 urban districts participation in the 2011 NAEP in reading. Between 900 and 2,700 students in each district were assessed at grades 4 and 8. Results show no significant change in scores for most districts compared to 2009. Charts and tables.
