Status of Technology & Digitization in the Nationís Museums & Libraries: 2002 Report
Barry Leonard (ed.). This report first presents key cumulative findings of a survey that measured technology use & digitization activities by museums & libraries. It then presents a series of tables & graphs that compare survey responses by museums & libraries based on a variety of categorizations. The most significant of these categorizations is the one on which most sections of this report are based: museum, public library, academic library, & State Library Administrative Agency. Further categorizations are by such measures as budget size, size of populations served, & current extent of technology use & digitization. The survey results quantify, for the first time, the current status of technology use & digitization activities by museums & libraries.
