The Dept. of Energy (DoE) is responsible for some of this nation’s most important and sensitive activities incl.: designing, producing, and maintaining the nation’s nuclear weapons; conducting a broad range of efforts for national security applications; and performing basic and applied R&D for potential defense and commercial applications.
