This book explores the life and long career of Philadelphia photographer William Jennings. It contains two biographical chapters and a chapter featuring approximately 75 examples of Jennings’ work including aerial photographs taken from both balloons and airplanes, architectural and street views primarily of the Philadelphia area, images from the Sesquicentennial exhibition, and family photographs. The 150 page book includes both footnotes and an index.
