The goal of the PDP sampling program is to obtain a statistically defensible representation of the U.S. food supply. Using a rigorous statistical approach to sampling and the most current laboratory methods, PDP has tested fresh and processed fruit and vegetables, grains and grain products, milk and dairy products, rice, beef and catfish, and other commodities, bottled water, groundwater, and treated and untreated drinking water for pesticide residues.
