Pesticide Data Program: Annual Summary, Calendar Year 2013
Ruihong Guo (ed)
The 23rd Annual Summary of the Pesticide Data Program (PDP), which includes data for calendar year 2013. The goal of the PDP sampling program is to obtain a statistically defensible representation of the U.S. food supply. Using a rigorous statistical approach to sampling and the most current laboratory methods, PDP has tested fresh and processed fruit and vegetables, grains and grain products, milk and dairy products, rice, beef and catfish, and other commodities, bottled water, groundwater, and treated and untreated drinking water for pesticide residues. This report shows that overall pesticide residues found in foods are at levels below the tolerances set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Charts and tables. This is a print on demand report.
