Clinton T. Brass (au)
On Jan. 4, 2011, the GPRA Modernization Act of 2020 (GPRAMA) became law. The acronym ńˇýGPRAńˇŁ refers to the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 (GPRA 1993), a law that GPRAMA substantially modified. Some of GPRAMAńˇ╗s provisions require agencies to produce plans and reports for a variety of audiences that focus on goal-setting and performance measurement. Other provisions establish an annual process to reexamine the usefulness of certain reporting requirements. This report provides an overview of GPRAMAńˇ╗s processes that relate to the reexamination of agency reporting requirements. Contents: Background: Potential Categories, Advantages, and Disadvantages of Reporting Requirements;GPRAMAńˇ╗s Statutory Process; Implementation of GPRAMAńˇ╗s Process; Potential Issues for Congress. This is a print on demand report.
