Description   This Library Company of Philadelphia and Historical Society of Pennsylvania joint exhibition grew out of three years' work for the Library Company, the Historical Society, and also the American Philosophical Society compiling union catalogues of their pre-1861 printed books in American natural history and in agriculture.
