It is based on data from the Continuing Survey of Food Intakes by Individuals (CSFII 1989--91) conducted by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture. CSFII 1989-91 was originally conducted as 3 separate 1-year surveys. Data collection began in April & continued through March of the following year. The design of the survey included 2 independent stratified clustered samples of housing units, a basic or all-income sample, & a low-income sample. Includes dozens of tables.
