Standards for the Use & Disposal of Sewage Sludge
Barry Leonard (ed.). Provides criteria for classification of solid waste disposal facilities & practices. It also provides guidelines for the disposal of sewage sludge on the land when the sewage sludge is not used or disposed through a practice regulated in 40 CFR Part 503. “Sewage sludge” means solid, semi-solid, or liquid residue generated during the treatment of domestic sewage in a treatment works. It includes, but is not limited to, domestic septage; scum or solids removed in primary, secondary, or advanced wastewater treatment processes; & a material derived from sewage sludge.
