Pay & benefits should result in economic security. Improving pay scales & health insur. were two of their top priorities for workplace change. 2nd, while workplace structure & culture should support womenís family responsibilities, finding affordable child care remained a problem. Paid sick leave, vacation time, & family leave were insufficient to meet family needs. 3rd, women of all races said they experienced discrim. & wanted more on-the-job training & a greater chance for career advance.
