Its fiscal year 1995 cost estimated included $412 million for vaccine purchase, $24.5 million for vaccine distribution, $9.2 million for vaccine ordering, & $11.6 million for operations. The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention has announced that doses of influenza vaccine for high-risk children and hepatitis B for adolescents will be added to the recommended schedule for fiscal year 1996.
