Federal Funds for Research & Development: FY 1993, 1994, & 1995 (vol. 43)
Ronald L. Meeks. Estimated federal funding for R&D & R&D plant is expected to decrease 1%, to $72 billion in fiscal year 1995. Contributing to this decline is a 26% drop in R&D plant obligations (to $2 billion) & a 1% decrease in development funding (to $41 billion). Research spending will increase slightly, by 1/2 of 1% (to $28 billion). This report includes R&D funding levels as reported by 32 Federal agencies & their subdivisions -- 105 individual respondents -- in March through October 1994.
