Federal Job Classification: Comparison of Job Content with Grades Assigned in Selected Occupations
. Many studies have suggested that women & minorities are paid less than men & non-minorities who work in comparable positions. This has raised questions about whether the Federal governments classification systems result in lower grades being assigned to positions having a large number of female or minority incumbents than to other comparable occupations.
