Description
Glenn A. Fine (ed). The report describes the Dept. of Justice (DoJ) Office of Inspector General’s (OIG) investigation of allegations raised by Sibel Edmonds, a former Contract Linguist (CL) for the FBI. Edmonds worked for the FBI from Sept. 20, 2001, until March 2002, when her services as a CL for the FBI were terminated. Before that termination, she had raised a series of allegations regarding the FBI’s CL program, including security concerns about actions by a co-worker related to potential espionage. This review is an unclassified version of the full 100-page report on Edmonds’ allegations. The OIG completed the full report in July 2004 & provided copies of it to the 9/11 Commission & several congressional committees that have oversight of DoJ. Illus.
