Overview of Findings From the 2002 National Survey on Drug Use & Health
Jeremy Aldworth (au). Presents the first information from the 2002 National Survey on Drug Use & Health (NSDUH), an annual survey of the civilian, non-institutionalized population of the U.S. aged 12 years or older. Prior to 2002, the survey was called the National Household Survey on Drug Abuse. This report provides a concise summary of the main results from the 2002 NSDUH. Because of improvements & modifications implemented in 2002, estimates from the 2002 NSDUH should not be compared with estimates from the 2001 or earlier versions of the survey to examine changes over time. The data collected in 2002 represents a new baseline for tracking trends in substance use & other measures. Charts & tables.
