Environment Program with the leadership & active participation of the U.S., commits Parties to take significant steps, similar to those already taken by the U.S., to eliminate or restrict the production, use, &/or release of 12 specified persistent organic pollutants (POPs). This Message recommends that the Senate give prompt & favorable consideration to the Convention & give its advice & consent to ratification.
