Statistical Abstract of the U.S., 2001: The National Data Book (121st ed.)
Glenn W. King (ed.). Published by the U.S. Census Bureau since 1878, this is the standard summary of statistics on the social, political, & economic organization of the U.S. It is designed to serve as a convenient volume for statistical reference & as a guide to other statistical publications & sources. This volume includes a selection of data from many statistical publications, both government & private. Although emphasis is primarily given to national data, many tables present data for regions & individual states & a smaller number for metropolitan areas & cities. Except as indicated, figures are for the U.S. as presently constituted.
