March 30, 1997 Grenade Attack in Cambodia: A Staff Report to the Committee on Foreign Relations, U.S. Senate
James P. Doran (ed.). Doran reports on his two trips to Cambodia to investigate the Mar. 30, 1997 grenade attack in Cambodia, which injured an Amer. citizen & which was investigated by the FBI. The perpetrators of the attack had not been identified. However, based on Doranís analysis of the evidence, which includes FBI reporting, press accounts, & numerous interviews in Cambodia, Thailand & the U.S., his report concludes that: Members of Hun Senís Bodyguard Force participated in the planning & execution of the attack; Hun Sen must have known & approved of the attack; By June 1997, the U.S. Govít. was in possession of overwhelming evidence of conclusions #1 & #2 & had done nothing about it.
