This report addresses: (1) CC expend. by states under the CCDF & TANF block grants; (2) the type of CC selected by families who receive subsidies with these funds & the mechanisms by which states provide CC subsidies to eligible families; & (3) states’ priorities in providing CC subsidies to low-income families & their views about the adequacy of the current levels of funding for CC.
