The Immigration & Naturalization Service (INS) invests hundreds of millions of dollars each year in info. technology (IT) to carry out its core missions of: (1) preventing aliens from entering the U.S. illegally & removing aliens who succeed in doing so, & (2) providing services or benefits to facilitate entry, residence, employment, & naturalization of legal immigrants. This report addresses INSís mgmt. of IT investments.
