Guaranteed Loan System Requirements: Checklist for Reviewing Systems Under the Federal Financial Management Improvement Act

Financial Management Improvement Act (FFMIA) of 1996 requires, among other things, that agencies implement & maintain financial management systems that substantially comply with federal financial management systems requirements. This checklist reflects the Joint Financial Management Improvement Programís revised Guaranteed Loan System Requirements (March 2000) to assist: (1) agencies in implementing & monitoring their guaranteed loan systems, & (2) managers & auditors in reviewing agency guaranteed loan systems to determine if they substantially comply with FFMIA. It is provided as a tool for use by experienced staff.
