To support the Paralympics, a specialized transit service was planned & deployed to service the travel needs of the athletes, trainers & officiating staff using a combination of low-floor buses & lift-equipped buses. An operational assessment was conducted, focusing on bus access technologies that enable boarding & alighting operations. information Signage (on-board the buses, & at wayside boarding/alighting locations) that also either enable or limit full access to the transport services was also investigated.
