Description
Your facility may be subject to aerial observation & imaging during a mission overflight conducted by a foreign inspection team under the Treaty on Open Skies (TOS). The Treaty permits any State Party to fly over the entire territory of other States Parties, including the U.S., using aircraft equipped with a variety of specified sensors. In addition, the information collected during these observation mission flights may be shared with any other States Parties. The combined effect of several sensors operating simultaneously could, potentially, reveal information about your facility & its operations that would not otherwise be available. Here is an introduction to the TOS & its potential impact on U.S. facilities.
