As a result of extensive research in the Rosenbach Company Archive & in the papers of English libraries & collectors, Leslie Morris has reconstructed the Rosenbachs’ famous purchases from the Holford, Phillipps, & York Minster collections in considerable detail & has compiled -- for the first time -- checklists of the 297 individual titles acquired by the Rosenbach Co. in these private treaty sales.
