Randall B. Williamson (au)
Military servicemembers engaged in combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan are at risk of developing post-traumatic stress disorder. In Mar. DoD oversees the military servicesí compliance with PDHRA requirements through its deployment health assessment quality assurance program (DHAQAP). In June 2007, it was reported that DoDís oversight of its DHAQAP does not provide DoD or Congress with the info. needed to evaluate DoD and the military servicesí compliance with DHAQAP. This report discusses how well DoDís DHAQAP oversees the military servicesí compliance with the requirement that they ensure that servicemembers complete the PDHRA. Ill.
