Description
This Nat. Center for Educ. Statistics (NCES) report compares graduation rates, one of only a few systemwide accountability measures currently available, among 4-year colleges & universities that are similar with respect to selectivity & low-income enrollment. Further, the study identifies institutions that serve large low-income undergraduate populations, & compares those with relatively high graduation rates with other low-income serving institutions. The primary source of data used in this analysis is the 2004 Graduation Rate Survey, which is part of the Integrated Post-secondary Ed. Data System collected by the U.S. Dept. of Educ. Extensive charts, tables & graphs.
