There are fed. standards for the child support enforcement program (CSE). State agencies administer the program & the Office of Child Support Enforcement in the HHS oversees it. This report determined: (1) how total net fed. expend. for admin. costs changed from FY 2000 to FY 2004; (2) the categories of costs that contributed most to admin. costs in recent years; & (3) steps that state agencies have taken to manage costs.
