A vol. in the British Uncovered Edition series, which are historic official papers which have not previously been available in a popular form. On Sunday, January 30, 1972, a protest march organized by the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Assoc. took place in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, in the area of the Bogside & Creggan Estate. During the afternoon of that march, 13 civilians were killed by British soldiers, & another 13 were injured. As a result, a tribunal was appointed to inquire into the events which led up to this tragic loss of life. Heading the inquiry was Lord Widgery. This book contains the text of Lord Widgery’s original report. Includes a List of Witnesses; Legal Representatives; & maps of Ireland & Londonderry in 1972.
