Being Together: Reflection Journal
Bokin Kim (ed); Carleton Dallery (ed)
Since the first class at the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in 2002, the members have struggled with how to create & sustain a lively learning environment. Small group techniques were used as a model & implemented in the Fall semester of 2004 for the Won-Buddhist Studies Canon Class. Each individual shares his or her practice & awakening. During the small group discussion, students share their experiences openly, & discuss the topic of the study in depth. Here is a collection of the Reflection journals that students shared in the small groups. The journals reveal each studentís spiritual commitment to Dharma practice & his/her appreciation of how fellow classmates strengthen the root of oneís own practice.
